Really great place, highly recommend. We stopped while hiking GR1 (hitch hiked back and from trail when it hit the road, was quite easy, but can also walk). The alberg is extremely cozy and charming, and the village is likewise. It will be an experience. Don’t expect stores, but all food is well handled at alberg, and very good. If lucky, Isabel may even treat you to her own delicious homemade liquor. We surprised her with gluten free (in English), and she quickly whipped up a delicious meal. Really really recommend

Isabel is a wonderful person, hardworking and very attentive. Both adults and children felt right at home, very comfortable. She made us a spectacular dinner in the garden, with fairy lights...taking care of us at all times and providing every detail and information for places to visit. The rooms have their own bathrooms, which is also a nice touch.

We went because we were looking for a place to spend the night, as it was on our motorcycle route. We saw it online and went to check it out. Isabel, the owner, greeted us, we arranged our stay, saw the room, and decided to stay. It was a great choice! The service was exquisite, warm, and welcoming, thanks to Isabel and her partner, who was also very kind and helpful. It's an idyllic and peaceful place with hardly any neighbors. The pool was a welcome addition, as it was sweltering. We had bed and breakfast, but lunch and dinner are available for an extra charge. We ordered dinner, and it was spectacular. Isabel prepared a pasta salad with a multitude of extra ingredients: tuna, egg, surimi, tomato, etc. For the main course, we had orange chicken, which was a marvel of cooking and flavor—completely homemade. For dessert, we had a Contessa-style ice cream with caramel syrup 😋, coffee, and a homemade pacharán (sloe liqueur) made by Isabel, which was also very good and refreshing. To finish, we had some gin and tonics and a great chat. We went to sleep and the next day had a full breakfast: coffee, juice, pastries, toast, cold cuts, etc. We had to continue our journey, so we went to get our luggage and paid the bill, which was also very reasonably priced. We congratulated them and thanked them for everything and said goodbye with very little enthusiasm. Again, many thanks to Isabel and her partner for such a brief but very positive stay.
