Camping Vall Fosca is a small-scale, atmospheric campsite where you immediately feel like you are part of the local community. The cozy bar by the pool is frequently visited by Spaniards, creating an authentic atmosphere. The people at the bar and reception are incredibly friendly and take the time to explain hiking routes. The restaurant serves simple but tasty meals. The showers and toilets are clean and well-maintained. There are, however, some older, slightly grubby caravans belonging to seasonal campers, but that didn't really bother us. Keep in mind that there are no large supermarkets in the immediate vicinity – only a few small village shops. We got fresh bread at a small restaurant just below the campsite. An absolute highlight is the nature park with the cable car nearby. Because the lift only runs once an hour, it is quiet and unspoiled at the top. You do need to book online, but it is more than worth it. In short: a wonderful place for those who want to stay away from mass tourism and are looking for a pure, Spanish camping experience. We loved it!
A mountain campsite with truly welcoming and friendly staff. The bar serves excellent toasted sandwiches and some more elaborate dishes. Some of the facilities are a bit dated, but everything is clean and well-maintained.
