Good size pitches, big enough for a 7m motorhome plus tent. Restaurant sells simple but tasty food -- pork escalope and veal steak with French fries & veggie garnish were fine. Very quiet for the third week of June.

We stayed in one of the larger log cabins. A family of 2+3 and a couple with a toddler. Kitchen is well equipped. There’s great heat. The place is cozy, well located and fun for families. There’s no AC. Which is usually not an issue. The location is great for hikes in the area. There are many trails 15-20 min away. The large Val De Boi park is 60 min away. Small towns and supermarkets are 10-15 min away. Staff was kind and helpful. There’s a playground and ping pong table for the kids. Not luxury. Great if your looking for peaceful, out of a town / city place to rest with a family.

Overpriced. Close to the road. We stayed in Prado Verde with my husband for 4 days. + What we liked about it: The place is in a beautiful area - Vall D'Aran, very green, lovely river. (Although big-time recommendation - check the weather forecast before going! We arrived on Sunday and all day & night it was lashing rain, cats and dogs! On Monday pretty much the same. In this weather, you are trapped)The pool was lovely. Clean water, deep. - What we didn't like: The place is just by the highway. You hear cars all the time. The part of the Riverside is under construction. So we had a view of the truck and building constructions from the balcony of the bungalow. The staff smokes a lot and something toxic. Even though we booked non- smoking bungalow, it smelled bad like someone smoked there before. In addition, there was a constant problem with sewage, so the sink in the kitchen and the bathroom were stinking. The bedroom was very dusty. Tips: The Viella town, where are all the shops & restaurants are within 15 min drive. On the other side in 7 min drive you get to Bossost, smaller town but you have all you need there as well.

Small camping along the scenic road Vielha-France. The fast river runnig along one side brings a pleasent whisper, however the road on the other side just brings traffic noise. Camping is easy thanks to the excellent grass, but it's also rather humid in the mornings (soaked tent). Lavatories do not have hot water, that is only found in the shower/dishwashing building a few yards away. No tables, chairs or indoor facilities for eating your own food. However, there is a bar nearby run by the same family. The price tag for camping was expensive: at 5.6 € per person/car/tent was the dearest we ever encountered in the Spanish interior. The pretty wooden cabins came at an ever higher price, at around 60 €/night, and we were told could only be rented for a minimum of two nights. Positive: Location, interesting birding in the river (Dippers and Grey Wagtails). Negative: Price, lack on facilities to eat on the spot, noisy.
