Best camping that we had. we stayed in bungalow suite. We stayed for 4 days. Kids love it, especially the heated pool. The view is amazing, the bungalow is relaxing, quiet campsite, and the staff they are the gem of this campsite. They treated us well especially my kids. We are very sure that we will come back! Kids wants to experience summer also here. thank u so much for a pleasant and very relaxing experience❤️

This review is about the restaurant and the patio/play area since we did not sleep there. We like to come here to sit and let the kids play while we enjoy a tea or a drink after taking a walk across the street at the reservoir. It's a nice place to decompress and let the kids play around, without having to be hyper-vigilant, since it's contained and safe. There are nice fun playground things for kids of all ages to enjoy, including a mini trampoline, a baby swing, a tractor to climb on, and a slide. There is also enough space to run around on the grass. They have a little carousel for €1, as well as kid's foosball and adult foosball, also each for €1. In addition to that, the daily lunch menu is tasty and the service relaxed, like the environment.

We turned up on a Sunday in low season and it was really busy around the car park in front of the campsite and at the restaurant, but these were mainly day visitors as the camping was very quiet with just a handful of people here.  The camping is on terraces, with quite large pitches covered with small gravel and with trees which I imagine would provide shade in the summer months.  We were close to the Sanitary blocks and there were two buildings,  a separate place for washing dishes with good hot water.  Then in the other block  separate men, women and family, which included  toilets and showers room.   The women's had about 5 toilets and similar amounts of  showers.   Everything was spotlessly clean  and I saw staff checking them morning and afternoon. The showers are small and only two hooks but the water is hot and can be adjusted to suit.  There are no separate wash basins only the ones in the toilet area and there is a hairdryer for use free of charge.  There are two swimming pools the outdoor wasnt open, but we did get two free passes to use the indoor heated but we didn't use it. The camping site is opposite a lake which has nice walks around it and as we had a dog it was perfect.  We were given a list of local walks and cycles on arrival which was good and we used it to have a lovely walk up the castle about 8km there and back and around the lake about 9km and both walks  are worth doing. The restaurant was busy on Sunday outside and indoors but we only had a beer and it was reasonably priced and they allowed dogs on the terrace too. On our first morning I woke to a large fire behind the campsite, on closer inspection it was a controlled fire in a field luckily there was no wind and so the smoke went straight up but we did get covered in ash from the fire but it wasn't a problem. However someone came around and offered us the opportunity for a car wash which we declined but it was good of them to ask.   At night there was a lot of dog barking I think from the village behind but I can't be certain and there were at least two dogs barking. The first night was worse than the second  with the dog barking  even with ear plugs. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very friendly, the bread is good, and the staff have very good English too.
